Rallying Cry

When the Captain's enemy is defeated, her cry boosts her fellowship's morale.

War-cry

When the Captain's enemy is defeated, she lets out a cry that rallies her nearby companions to attack with greater speed and determination.

Command

Make Haste: Inspires the Captain's fellowship to greater haste, both in and out of battle.

Defensive Strike

The Captain attacks defensively, causing light damage but recovering quickly to protect herself from returned attacks.

Enraged Shout

Playing the Lotro Captain

• Captains are a hybrid class. Like a Druid or Shaman in WOW, Captains can tank, heal, DPS, and crowd control. Of course, such versatility comes at a price; the Captain does none of these things as well as the classes that specialize in them.

• Many of the Captain’s abilities are triggered when a mob dies. These procs include fellowship heals, increased attack rates, mob stuns, and so forth.

• A Herald proc provides AoE buffs to might and agility, in-combat health regeneration, or in-combat MP regeneration.

• Herald of War increases might and agility

• Herald of Hope increases health

• Captains can use two-handed halberds for great DPS.

• Captains crowd control with Shout, which stuns all monsters for 3 seconds.

• Captains have a Marking debuff for mobs so that each strike provides healing.
